Celebrate the opening of Silvis' first permanent NatureWalk! We'll have a ribbon cutting and refreshments, and then we'll explore the NatureWalk together. Signs along the path display interesting and fun facts about the plants, animals, and insects that call Phipps Prairie Park their home. The NatureWalk Project is part of the Silvis Public Library Centennial Series.

Relayed in his own unsparing voice, Demon braves the modern perils of foster care, child labor, derelict schools, athletic success, addiction, disastrous loves, and crushing losses. Demon Copperhead speaks for a new generation of lost boys and all those born into beautiful, cursed places they can't imagine leaving behind. The Quad City Animal Welfare Center’s Mobile Vet van will be in the library’s parking lot on May 10th from 12-2pm. They will provide wellness clinic services, including vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, and flea/tick/heartworm products. They do not see sick or injured animals.
