Meetings are open to the public, and anyone is welcome to attend. The Friends of Silvis Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Silvis Public Library. The Friends contribute to the purchase of books and equipment; to the supplies and programs for children and adults; and to any other expenditures outside of the library budget. The friends also volunteer at events and at the library.
